This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve official booking records. Contact the responsible agency directly.
Choose the Record Source
Match the question to the office before calling or writing:
- For a named person’s release record and the full search path, begin with the home page.
- For post-release duties, use the parole and probation sources.
- For today’s requested window, read the 24-hour release list fallback process.
- For a calculated date or alert, use projected release date and VINELink check.
- For Douglas jail departure data, contact Douglas County Jail or its data-practices authority.
- For Pope arrest or transport facts, contact the Pope County Sheriff or submit a Pope data request.
- For an executed state sentence, use the Minnesota DOC public viewer and DOC records process.

Minnesota Release Notifications
Minnesota VINE
Phone: 1-877-MN-4-VINE
Numeric: 1-877-664-8463
Operator assistance: 24 hours
VINE covers county jails and detention facilities. It is not connected to Minnesota state prisons. State prison notifications use Minnesota Haven through the Minnesota DOC Victim Assistance Program.
State and Federal Systems
The Minnesota DOC public viewer is the starting point for a person in prison or released from prison while still under DOC jurisdiction. A federal prison record belongs in the BOP locator. Immigration detention uses the ICE detainee locator. These systems cannot be replaced by a Pope or Douglas roster.
